TESTIMONIALS

Hi Heather,

Just wanted to give you some recent photos of Jade. She has been a delightful addition to our family. She's the daughter of Makula and High Voltage, and we brought her home in January 2005. She is inquisitive, energetic, and playful, and she has some definitely un-catlike behaviors. She loves to play fetch with rubber bands or rubber bracelets, or with her toy mice, and will bring them back to drop them at your feet over & over again just like a dog. She also takes the rubber bands and bracelets and puts them in her food bowl, and drowns her toy mice in her water bowl! I remember watching her father High Voltage playing with some sort of stick by dropping it into his water bowl, fishing it out, and doing it all over again, so I guess she's daddy's little girl!

Best wishes from us all,

Jennifer Hay

Hi Heather,

I just visited the web site. Had to send a short note. Kittens are GORGEOUS!

Volt is doing well. He had fun at Christmas with the real tree. In past years he has played with the ornaments and water but not this year. He and Khali spent more time up in the tree then under it.

He is still one cat that is ahead of his time.

Thanks for the pleasure of having him.

Dear Heather:

I just wanted to drop you a couple of lines about Midnight, the retired breeder cat I adopted from you back in June.

After adopting and being very pleased with my other two Bengal kittens from your cattery, I became interested in adopting Midnight Dancer when I heard she was retiring.  I was more than pleasantly surprised with Midnight. She is a wonderful cat and she plays with and takes care of my other three cats.  Midnight, who was almost 4 yrs. old when I adopted her, is just as affectionate as my other two Bengal cats which were kittens when I adopted them.  Midnight was shy when I first brought her home since it was a big change for her, but she quickly adapted to her new surroundings and befriended my other cats.  She is a beautiful cat with her luxurious coat and her electric green eyes.  Midnight is truly a lovely and sensitive girl. I love her dearly.

Just a quick update on Evolution / Cheech.

We just love her. She is so full on energy and is an extremely curious girl.
She does keep us jumping as she thinks that anything and everything that is not nailed down is her's to play with including wallets, paper, watches, money etc. She does get blamed for a lot of the things that go missing in the house.

She has adopted the top of the staircase as her place to sleep so she can keep an eye on us and Maxwell. Max and Cheech are getting along well, they like to tease each other from time to time.

She is getting a lot of exercise running from one end of the house to the other and it is pretty funny watching her try to get traction on hardwood floors. I am sure she will figure it out eventually.

Our Christmas was nice, Cheech enjoyed the paper, scotch tape and bows as she just had to be in the thick of things.

Hope your Christmas was special.

Hi Heather,

How are things?
I just thought that I would let you know that little Makula (aka cuckoo - a sound she makes when
she is introducing herself to the room) is doing very well.  She is the most unique cat that I have
ever known, and over the last year she has truly integrated herself into the family.
She is an absolute gem and we both love her so much.  She gets along with everyone and has never
bitten or used her claws.

I should get going I've got squawking going on now.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Shannon, Chris, Makula and the rest :-)

Hello Heather,

I told you I’d write about my experience with a retired Bengal

I would do it over again tomorrow. Tequila is wonderful and a wild-looking looker! J

We got her from the airport, the trip hadn’t even fazed her. For the first few days we confined her to a bathroom so she could relax without being bothered by Piper, our Gordon Setter or Bagheera, our other cat.

She readily settled in. She’s now a very good friend of Piper and Bagheera hates the both of them! J

She’s very sociable, not shy at all – quite the contrary, she’s got lots of personality and temperament. Very intelligent, inquisitive, playful, sometimes mischievous and  also totally fearless. I once wanted to prevent her from jumping on the counter to get food I was preparing. I walked towards her thinking that she’d run away. Not so! She charged me, avoided me at the last second and jumped right on the counter. J She also regularly tries to steal Piper’s starter food by attempting to push her away. Of course, being tiny (7.5 lbs.) she never succeeds to send the 50 lbs. Piper away and they end up sharing the goodies.

Tequila is very attached to us, follows us everywhere in the house and sleeps with us. She doesn’t like to be picked up (except at the vet, for reassurance) but makes up for it by very extremely affectionate if you don’t attempt to grab her. She’ll come see you and meow loudly to claim her daily TLC . She’s very vocal, talks all the time.

As for looks and temperament, I figured that by buying an adult we’d know exactly what we would be getting. Breeders are usually the pick of the litter, so we got the best cat we ever could hope for, at an extremely attractive price.

We so much liked the experience that I already informed you that I have my eyes on another of your queens when she retires!

Keep up the good work, you’ve got fantastic kitties!

Hello Heather, I just wanted to let you know how much we love "Mlle Ruby Tuesday" which we bought from you in June of 2006, she is absolutely STUNNING, every time we go out with her everyone wants to stop us, and say she looks like a Leopard. She has brought allot of life to my other cats, the Siamese Aqua and the Cornish Rex Cool J. She plays with them and keeps them on their toes, all the time. I love her dearly, She now sleeps with me on my stomach, and the other cats sleep beside me one on the pillow. She now comes when I call her, that is Amazing, and she talks allot, when I am not in the room she "MEOOWS' to let me know that she cannot see me, and another thing I would like to mention, she now goes in the kitchen sink to get some water from the faucet. She is full of lovely surprises everyday. Later on, in the near future, when we decide to move to Costa Rica, probably in a year or so, I will be contacting you to purchase another Bengal (Leopard) from you I am soo--- Addicted to Mlle Ruby Tuesday the Bengal.

P.S. I sent you some pictures of her with me, I hope you enjoy them. Thanks

alot Heather for everything Marianne from Ottawa.

Hi Heather,

Just a quick note to let you know how Glimmer is doing. In just two weeks, Glimmer has settled in and has become a much loved member of our family. Glimmer is very sweet and playful - loves to be pet & purrs all the time. She has a wonderful intelligent personality and is bonding with all of us.

She's warming up to each of us, one by one. Our 7 year-old son loves playing with her and watching her jump. She is still a bit timid of our 3 yr-old son, but his gentle play is beginning to win her over. In fact, a couple of nights ago, our son was up in the night, crying, and Glimmer came right up and gave him a kiss on the head. (maybe she thought he was one of her kittens) Thanks so much for allowing us to adopt Glimmer. We intend to spoil her for a very long time.

Now, if we could only figure out how to trim those claws...... We will send you a couple of photos in a separate email.

Thanks again,

The Rosen Family

MORE TO COME :-)
